B&B’s, Vacation Rentals, Air B&B’s are required to pay 8% Transient Lodging Tax in Grant County

 Grant County has an 8% Transient Lodging Tax which was passed by the voters of the county on May 15, 1990. The Tax was established by the passage an Ordinance.

Ordinance NO. 2012-04 (Attached below) amended the original ordinance to reflect changes in Oregon law. This is the ordinance governing the practices and policies concerning the Transient Room Tax in Grant County.

ALL operators of Lodging facilities who rent any rooms, space in a hotel, motel, recreation vehicle, or home for sleeping purposes, without limitation, any space in a recreational vehicle park, mobile home park or campground are required to collect and pay the tax.
