Features: This trail, in the Strawberry Wilderness Area, leads to Mud Lake. There is very little use of this lake in comparison with the other lake in the basin. It has a nice setting with good access to east end trails. There are few to no fish at Mud Lake making fishing poor.

Access: From Prairie City, follow County road 62 to Summit Prairie. Go west on Forest Service road 16 to Forest Service road 924. Turn right on Forest Service road 1648. Go to Forest Service road 021. Go approximately 1 1/2 miles to Forest Service road 039. Follow Forest Service road 039 to the trailhead.

When I get done here...

I'll find the GPS Coordinates information for Mud Lake A Trail so that I can show you a Google® Map to it!

In the mean time, why not join us free and edit it yourself? We'll keep the door to the bunkhouse open for you.
