Blue Mountain Hospital is a full service acute care hospital that was orginally built in 1949 in Prairie City. The hospital was then rebuilt in 1960 in John Day. In May of 2001 ground was broken for the seven million dollar replacement facility that was completed in August 2003. Blue Mountain Hospital has been designated a critical access hospital and is licensed for 25 beds.
Our facilities and equipment include: lab, xray, MRI, CT, Physical Therapy,general surgery, in and out patient services, emergency room services, rural health clinic/physician services, ambulance services, swing bed services and intermediate long-term health care. |
